Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
EdgeFinder is run by Eddy Pips Trading. For any privacy question or request, email support@edgefindertrading.com.
2. What we collect
- Guest mode: your sessions, trades, notes and settings are stored in your own browser (IndexedDB and local storage). They are not sent to us.
- Account details: if you sign in with Google or with an email and password, we receive your email address, your display name and profile photo if Google provides them, and a user ID.
- Your workspace: for signed-in users, the sessions, trades, notes, settings and screenshots you add are saved to our cloud database so you can use them on other devices.
- Subscription details: if you subscribe, Stripe handles the payment. We receive your subscription status, plan, billing dates and a Stripe customer ID. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data: we use Google Analytics to count visits and a few actions, such as opening the app, creating a session, or starting checkout. This includes the pages you view, the site that sent you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It does not include your trades, notes or screenshots.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and reliability.
- Messages: if you email us, we keep the email so we can reply.
3. How we use it
- To run the app: saving and syncing your sessions, and showing your analytics and reports.
- To manage your plan and unlock paid features.
- To send account emails such as verification and password reset.
- To understand how the app is used, so we can see what is working and what to improve.
- To answer support requests, fix bugs, and keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your trade data for advertising.
4. Services we rely on
- Google Firebase (sign-in, database and hosting).
- Stripe (checkout, billing and the billing portal).
- Google Analytics (visit and usage statistics).
- Google Fonts (loads the typefaces used in the app).
These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms, and may store it in the United States or other countries.
5. Cookies and browser storage
EdgeFinder uses browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and hold guest sessions. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. We do not use advertising cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
6. Affiliate links
Some links in the app go to partner sites such as PropFirmMatch, FXReplay and FXIFY. When you click one, that site may record that you came from EdgeFinder. What they collect after that is covered by their own privacy policies.
7. What not to put in EdgeFinder
Please do not include sensitive personal information in trade notes or screenshots, such as bank details, passwords, home addresses, or brokerage login details.
8. Keeping, exporting and deleting your data
- We keep your account and workspace data for as long as your account is open.
- You can export your sessions as JSON from the Session Manager at any time.
- You can delete sessions inside the app. To delete your whole account and its cloud data, email us from the address on the account and we will remove it within 30 days.
- Billing records may be kept longer where tax or accounting rules require it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is used. Email us to make a request and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Children
EdgeFinder is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. For significant changes we will tell signed-in users in the app or by email.
